I’ve been sporadic about writing. Because real life. The cool thing about writing though is that it’s never too late to pick it up again. Or in my case, again, and again, and again. The new year is as good as an opportunity to do that.
And with new year, new changes. I’m stepping out of my comfort zone. I usually write contemporary romance, with a third person POV. My current manuscript is on the other side of the spectrum of romance–paranormal with a first person POV. So, since I like to go big or go home, I’m basically doing things out of the norm. So I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
Speaking of out of the norm, my family of six flew during the holidays. It takes an act of Congress or a combination of stupidity and bravely to plan a trip with young kids, stuck on a plane for five hours. It went well. Relatively speaking. But this is the reward.
