A GIFT FOR YOU
Exactly one week before Christmas! As exhausting as the holidays are, Christmas is my favorite holiday. What’s your favorite gift to receive? I’m a low maintenance kind of girl (although my husband may disagree) so some of my favorite gifts include socks (those comfy, thick socks that just make you want to sink into them), I love any accessories that come from Francesca (if you don’t know the store, you’re missing out; they have an online store, check it out), and of course books. I love books. Paperbacks, electronic, anything I can read, I’m down with it.
And because I love books, and I love my readers, I would like to give you a small gift. Without readers, I’m just this person writing words on my laptop. It’s the reader that makes me an author and makes me as happy as a puppy who caught its own tail.
I’m giving away a copy of my short story, “The Amazingly Bad Luck of Jessica Emerson,” which is a prequel of sorts to my contribution to the Unwrapping Love Anthology, titled “Shut Up and Kiss Me”. Bad Luck is the story of Jessica and Jake, and it occurs before Shut Up which tells the story of Jessica’s older sister, Christine. PageCurl Publishing is giving away a copy of “Shut Up and Kiss Me” so please visit their page, which also means you will have access to my related (though stand alone) short stories. If you like “Shut Up and Kiss Me” and you have not done so, please consider purchasing the entire anthology. It’s currently on sale at Amazon for about the same price as a venti cup of coffee. I assure you with twenty one short stories, you will enjoy the book a lot longer than the coffee with definitely a lot less calories (though not counting chocolates that you may or may not consume while reading the book).
It’s so easy to receive a copy of my book, simply leave a comment telling me the best holiday gift you’ve received on the comment section below. Do not forget to include your email address. I will e-mail you the story at the end of our Holiday Book Exchange Blog Hop on Saturday, December 20. Of course, I would be tickled pink if you can go to my Facebook page and give me a like, or through my Twitter page.
And since it’s the holidays, my super hero S.K. Wills has put together an awesome giveaway (which makes me really sad I cannot join). Just click below, and join for a chance to win.
I am truly happy you stopped by, and appreciate your support. I hope you enjoy the holidays with the people and books you love. Remember, this whole week there are over thirty authors giving away presents so visit their blogs. Click on this link for the schedule. If you’d like an event reminder for the week so you don’t miss out on any of the cool gifts, you can sign up here, Holiday Gift Exchange Even Reminder.
