As Hemingway said “Write drunk; edit sober.” Who am I to argue with such wisdom?
I mentioned mojito pomegranate on a previous post so I made some recently, and here’s the recipe I follow. I prefer my drinks blended so after mixing your ingredients and fusing it together, just throw ice and the mixture in the blender. Or you can go the traditional route and just use ice.
– 1/4 cup pomegranate juice (you can also use fresh ones but they’re harder to juice though I think its worth the effort)
– 2 ounces white rum
– 1 tablespoon sugar
– 6 springs of fresh mint
– ice
In a cocktail shaker, combine all ingredients except the mint and shake well. Mull the mint in the bottom of a cocktail glass. Strain the pomegranate mixture into the glass with the mulled mint, and serve.
